Alice is a well known Native American Indian activist, tribal leader, former Commissioner of the Tennessee Commission of Indian Affairs, president of the Faraway Cherokee 501c3,c9, & a renowned artist world wide who has won awards in many prestigious art shows, has had many news articles written about her & has accepted many letters of appreciation & certificates of accomplishments. Her paintings are a reflection of her spirit & the love she has for our beautiful country & the people who reside in her. She has had the gift of creativity since she was a child & she has always had an inquisitive mind. She has studied the true history of our nation through the eyes & words of her people, the Cherokee. She has shared her knowledge through her words & her artwork.  I have added a couple of about pages to this site & as I work on the site I will add more about her. She has lived a remarkable life that I would like to share with you.

  I am her son David. Alice & I have been working on this website & her business to make this happen. Please bear with me as I am steadily working on making this website easy to work with.  

The first format that we are offering is Giclee.

  " Giclee "   is a process where the image of the artist's painting is transferred to a transparency , fine tuned & precisely & creatively applied to a high quality canvas  that has a quality closely resembling the original & radiates the same feeling we get when we see the original painting.

  These Giclees'  will be offered in Two different formats.  Stretched Canvas & Gallery Wrap.

  Stretched Canvas' are the most common where the canvas material is stretched on a wood support structure & the image is applied. These paintings are usually Framed.  A Gallery Wrap is where the image, on high a quality canvas is wrap around the face of the painting & around the sides making it a  Gallery style piece. These pieces will be offered in different sizes & as we strengthen her business we will offer other formats.
